Nestled a few kilometers from Alta in a serene valley, the hotel's scenic location provided a tranquil setting, perfect for unwinding after our adventures. Upon arrival, the friendly staff offered a warm welcome, promptly checking us in and even arranging a late dinner. The unique dining area featured breathtaking views, enhancing our meals significantly. Our room was comfortably heated, boasting tasteful decor and a sitting area, making it an inviting space to exchange stories after our daily excursions. While some may find the rate slightly steep, it included a generous breakfast-worth every kronor, especially when considering the options for outdoor activities such as dog sledding and nature walks. the hotel offers free parking and other convenient amenities, contributing to an overall sense of value. In essence, while Gargia Fjellstue commands a premium, its combination of dedicated service, scenic beauty, and thoughtful amenities justifies the investment.
